How long have you been playing paintball and how did you get started?

Ive been only playing competitively for 3 years but my first time ever playing was when I was in school playing at Colorado indoor with some friends that use to play. I was so scared and rocking the A5 but loved the adrenalin rush. Same day I got bunkered by my friend, till this day he never lets it down.

Why do you play paintball?

I play paintball because it gives me a sense of being competitive and I like team work. An hell what guy doesn’t like playing with guns and shooting your friends with it with out them dying LOL.

What do people say when you tell them that you play paintball?

Really you play paintball, do you put on all the camo and play in the woods all the time?

What is your home field, and what does it have to offer?

Home field would have to be SCP thats the first paintball field I played on in Minnesota

What tournament series & division do you currently play in?

I currently play NPPL D4

What teams have you played for in the past? And who do you play for now?

Ive played for Chow Yunng Fat, Air Assault JR, Fargo United, Time Machine, and Absolute. I currently play for Hawaii Tropix

How often do you practice per week and how far do you have to travel to practice?

All depends on where i can play, lately its been NS because thats where all the Absolute guys play.

What was your greatest achievement so far in your paintball career? What events have you won?

Haven’t had much achievements so far in paintball. But i’m happy that i get to play with a team that i can call family and is thousands of miles away. Havent won any events but took 4th in Vegas USPL 09, 4th in Huntington beach NPPL’10, and 2nd in Chicago NPPL ’10 “with Absolute guests”

What was the best prize package you’ve ever won?

Nothing to cool besides playing and making my money back and maybe having a nice dinner the next day

What is your best memory in paintball?

Playing my second event with the Hawaii team and having the best time playing paintball in Vegas destroying people.

What keeps you playing paintball?

The strive to win a event, and the team that i can call family. nothing beats playing with people that you feel comfortable with.

What gun do you use, and why do you like it?

Currently use a Geo. I like it because its something im use to holding. use to shoot a 08 Ego

What suggestions do you have for new players?

Work hard and play anywhere and everywhere you can. Heart and will is all you need to strive to be better

Describe your style of play on the field.

Calm i would have to say. I try to work on being calm alot when i’m playing. I found out the less you are jumpy the less you die making dumb moves.

Are there any people who have been influential on your playing style? Who are they and how have they impacted your game?

I’m kind of a biter when it comes to being influenced. I watch a lot of videos if pros “Brandon Short” running snake side and i nit pick at what there doing then i watch videos of me playing and see if i do the somethings or what i could change. That has dramatically changed the way i play and how i play snake.

What do you think your greatest strength in paintball is? What do you need improvement on?

A lot of people tell me i’m fast or quick. But being small is also a plus for playing snake. I really need to improve my 1v1s skill. I lack there of 1v1s

What position do you currently play on the field? Why do you think your team has placed you in that role?

Snake is where i’m at 90 percent of the time if not i’m playing snake corner so i can fill snake. I get stuck playing snake because thats what i’ve been playing from the very beginning

What do you think needs to happen in Minnesota to develop divisional teams that will be able to compete nationally?

We need teams that have been playing together for a good amount of time that have a sense of direction. Theres a couple of teams i could name that could play nation events right now

Outside of paintball, what do you do for a living?

I work on cars at Toyota.
