Where is your field located?
Splat TagTM & Paintball ParkTM are located 25 minutes East of St. Paul in Hudson, WI.
How long has it been around?
2010 marks Splat Tag / Paintball ParkTM 14 year running paintball games.
What are the hours?
We take private groups every day of the week all year around. There are 3 days a year where we have 400-600+ player games and we can not take private groups on those day.
We have 3 courses with lights so our hours 8am to 10pm.
Open / Walk-on games are every weekend from March to mid Nov.
What does your field have to offer?
Splat Tag is a woodsball / Scenario paintball field. We have 18 courses on 200 acres. We have one course called the Monster Course that is over 20 acres by itself.
We are no longer saying wooded courses because companies with a few trees can say “Wooded” we are now saying “Jungle” Most of our courses are thick Jungles with large hills and valleys.
We do have one Urban course. Throughout our courses we have built many large towers, forts and a giant castle. We have a crashed airplane, a paintball TANK that run on tracks and players can shoot out of during big games. Helicopter, Troop transport truck and other Army vehicle. Over 1500 Sandbags have been used to build bunkers all over the property.
The Splat Tag Entry fee includes C02 & HP Air refills. We are a field paint only course meaning you do not have to worry about getting hit with old, rock hard paintballs. We sell paintballs made in the USA by Kee Action sports.
Each year Splat Tag runs over 100 event from Hawaiian Shirt days to our 600 player “Giant Big GameTM” with players coming from all over the Midwest and Canada.
What days/time do you offer open play?
We offer Open / Walk-on games every weekend from March to mid Nov. Open games start at 11am and going to about an hour before Sunset. May though August we offer Wednesday Open Games from 4pm to 8pm. We have also started something new, any group of 6 or more players can hold a Open Game any day Mon-Fri with a $100 deposit and a min of 6 players.
Are players allowed to bring their own paint at all?
No! Splat Tag is field paintballs only. Players do not have to worry about getting hit with old/rock hard paintballs that players bought at some cheap box store.
All of our paintball are supplied though Kee Action Sports, they have been making paintballs since the beginning of the game.
What is the best day for tournament paintball players to come out and play?
Any Saturday or Sunday if they want to try playing in a Jungle.
Do you have any promotional days?
Two many to count! We have a lot of FREE Entry days and Food Drive Days $5 off. The last Sunday of every month is our Jungle Rumble Big Games were player receive Free hotdog, soda and a game patch. Also throughout the year Splat Tag gives away over 20 paintballs guns as door prizes at our big games and charity event.
